Natural disasters are getting OLD fast.
I have had 8 floods in as many turns some rivers seem to flood every 3 turns, and then with the storms that happen on top of that it becomes very Job-like and annoying

But all that food?

They do happen quite a bit.

While I don't mind them doing a little damage from time to time, I would like at least like a 'repair all' button
In my last game, Mount Vesuvius was probably more active and exploding than any known vulcano in history. Setting: "Light" disasters...

Hated it.
I kept the disaster setting to default and it still happened frequently, but not to an extent that it bothered me much. Whats your setting OP?
Yeah you are not alone there. I have my disaster settings turned to light and every three turns or so a river would flood.

I don't mind volcanoes as settling close to a volcano is a pretty poor choice but the constant River floods are so annoying.
Just install the mod that removes disasters and don't worry about it. I've posted the link at least 3 times in other steam posts already, do a search or find it yourself on the civfanatics website.

That is I think my biggest reason for hating the storms.. my rivers in exp age have like +30 food.. my farms +3. They need to fix storms. Makes the game too easy and it's really annoying.

Try using the middle option, I find you get less but worse storms.

I don't understand why there isn't an off or none option

I had the opposite problem. On the light setting I don't see that many disasters, but once I turned it up to moderate it was back to back nonstop.

I hate disasters and set them to zero in Civ VI and wish you could turn them off entirely. It's one of the dumber ideas they've ever added to the game. (ps - setting disasters to zero should turn them off in Civ VI otherwise why is the setting 'zero' - sigh)

I like the floods and volcanos. In my current game I have a town set up between 3 volcanos and a floody river, so much food and production to go to my cities and generating plenty of science on top - that place is a powerhouse. Every single turn those tiles are generating more!

Maybe it's just an rng setting in the map seed then. I don't get as many storms, but.. sometimes i do maybe I'm just imagining it.

They will probably patch in an option to turn it off like previous versions, which is what I always do. It's a feature that never really works as intended in computer games.
