There is a good deal of tools that are available, starting at Act 1... and maybe, by the very end of Act 2 ( which I'm trying to complete slowly at lvl35 ). A great deal of the game is figuring out where each party member excels at the most, and you could potentially cover their weaknesses with better setup ( EC: Resistances gear over stats, agility for the main DPS users, buff setups... etc )
I hope someone helps you out, because I'm no pro at DQXI
Keep in mind the difficoulty spike getting higher the faster you reaching the end of the post game. My advice is to not rush to fast as it will overwhelm you very quickly. Do sidequests and crafting if you can (it not neccessary but it can help). Try to level up as high as possible (meaning going lvl 99). Unless you dnt care about the superbosses. The "final" superboss should be lvl 99 for your team but again its possible with a lower lvl but its very difficoult. I was around lvl 80/82 with my team and believe me you dnt want to try it. Unless you know what you are doing and if rng is on your side.
