The upper screen was in 3D while the lower screen was in 2D.
Not quite. At least from my understanding, the game starts that way, and then at some point not too far in you can choose which type to use the rest of the game.
Also the 3D on 3DS is very different from the way the console/PC version looks.
Only on the 3DS. The PS4 and PC originals only had the 3D version, which again was not the same as on 3DS.
Crazy how you're disagreeing with me by posting a video that fully supports what I said.
(In fact I believe I got my info from that very video)

Just wanted to add those extra details as this is very often misunderstood about the 3DS version and it comes up every now and again.
I imagine it's a different enough of an experience that it's worth going thru, though knowing me, I'd probably get tired of the small screen and just go back to this version anyway. I no longer have a 3DS either.
They also patched this version, while not giving people who paid $60 at launch any discounts for them basically saying "Screw you for being dumb enough to buy it before we re-released the thing."
They *need* to put up a bundle deal, at a minimum, for those of us who paid full price for an abandoned and somewhat buggy version (with ****** server-based DRM they didn't bother to remove and likely won't keep the authentication servers running forever to boot) they never bothered to fix.
