Can you craft things to make lots of gold?
So I'm not far into the game (just got the green orb) but I was wondering if there was a item that sells for alot more than it costs to craft with money, of so couldn't you just keep on crafting with money till you run out and sell it all for profit?
If that is the case what items would be best for that?

I only finished the demo so far, but was able to make a lot of gold selling things for sure.

It appears that after resting, area transitions, or game events, resources reset themselves. So you can return and mine crystals you have already mined for example. I also use Erik's theft ability to steal items from mobs for crafting.

So afaik, if you put in the time to farming, you can use it to make money.

Wendersnaven I am aware of that, please stick to topic

You're looking for an exploit to gain endless amounts of gold, which may or may not exist in the game. Since you essentially want to cheat the system to profit, why not save yourself a whole lot of time and avoid the monotony by just using Cheat Engine?

No my question had to do with crafting items to gain money, you told me I can collect items worth next to nothing for very little money

1. I am on the switch
2. I found some items do sell for more than they cost to make.
3. It's not a exploit its call gold farming, a exploit is like item duping or using a glitch. This method I am after involves spending several hours playing a minigame for money, just like the casino but less risk/save scumimg involved

.... So let me get this straight ... you are selling the -CRAFTING- items for a few gold, instead of -CRAFTING- quality items with them?!? I can't help you. Good luck.

I k ow your a troll but in going to respond anyways, I said I want to craft items, for gold, then self the crafted items for more gold, your thinking of the raw materials you can use to craft said items, if you were unaware, you do not need materials to make crafted items with the forge, you can use gold in there place.

I'm not sure of any craftable items worth crafting just to farm gold.... but in terms of farming gold nothing is going to beat the Devilry Drinker shield or whatever it's called.

There is an island with monsters that drop them when defeated and also it can be stolen from them. So you can get multiples of them per battle easily and each one sells for 30,000 gold. So with about 5-6 battles you can effectively get enough of them to get 500,000 gold.

Thank koby I will check that out! But I have been messing around and found it's super easy to make divine daggers +3 and they do sell for slightly more than they cost to make
ProxyJames Jan 3, 2021 @ 2:09pm
Found a recipe that works! The platinum sword +2 or +3, costs 2600 to make, the +2 sells for 2700 and the +3 sells for 3600!
Its pretty easy to get the +2s &+3s and you can make enough pearls to rework them of you get a +1 or lower
ProxyJames Jan 3, 2021 @ 2:43pm
I figured out the sweet spots on the platinum sword, its 96 for the tip and middle of the blade a d 99 for the hilt, 8 put of 10 times I can make it +3 by triple whammy each spot till about 80ish hp. If you can get at least one in the sweet spot and the other 2 sections at around 95-98 damage it comes out as +3

For anyone coming to this page late from google, like myself, there are a number of items that can be crafted repeatedly for profit. I recommend Fur Poncho early game. Costs 1000G in materials and a +3 version sells for 1440G for a 440G profit per craft. +2 versions still sell for a small profit of 80G. +1 versions sell for a loss of only 10G. Keep in mind that the Perfectionist Pearls you get for each craft can be used to upgrade bad crafts for a higher profit if you find yourself on a streak of bad luck.

The recipe for Fur Poncho can be obtained as a reward for completing the quest A Walk on the Wild Side which is available in Gallopolis. If you are just starting out, this quest may be difficult to complete at first (it requires using a specific pep power that needs 3 party members in pep), but it will soon become much easier once you gain another party member and can rotate out pepped up characters in order to "bank" their pep. As you level up and gain more forging abilities, it will become trivial to craft +2 and +3 Fur Ponchos for easy unlimited (if time-consuming) money and Perfectionist Pearls.
