Personally I dont find the art style appealing. But that one is pretty subjective.
This game is a budget Far Cry 6, not a better game than Far Cry 6. So, the price needs to be lowered. You can't even use the vehicles in this game. Or fly. They cut a lot of corners and jacked the price.
-I know it'd run great on my desktop, so ultra smoothiness is not an issue.
-I don't mind the artwork, or the environments, so that's out.
-The AI will be improved with patches, so that's no biggie.
-The UI looks fine.
-The writing is crap, but so is the writing in every video game, so that's not a problem.
-Gameplay is simple and repetitive, but so are all of the things that you do in Hogwarts Legacy, and nobody is firebombing that game. Despite its one million Merlin puzzles.

I wanted to focus on this one, not even so much just the AI, but it will be improved with patches so no biggie. This is fine for those that wait to buy/play, but waiting means no sales and that doesn't work on their end. You are correct, if they fix all this up in time, for those that waited, no biggie and imo is the right course of action for the player.

I've somehow managed to rack up over 15 hours playing this solo and with a friend.
The more we play the more we get into it and just have fun.
I personally like the world and the aesthetic and i appreciate the semi casual feel of the game.
I also like lots of the world building hidden around the place. Lots to explore and read. Clues found in notes lead to some neat discoveries. I followed a series of notes that lead me to a location that had a locked up room with a huge load of weapons and loot inside surrounded by a story of what happened. It was never a registered quest. Just something i had to stumble upon.
I also like how you will find a camera with a telescopic lens for example, and if you go to the location its pointed at there is usually something to discover or explore. That for me is Arkanes style.
I totally get that most people thought they were getting Let4Dead with vampires, or some really deep looter shooter with endless endgame or borderlands with vampires. But this really is just a fun casual vampire slaying shooter in and Arkane world.
Sure it could use a bit of polish and performance fix but since Dishonored 2 this is the case with all Arkane games.
They can continue to build and add to this world with new things to do. New weapons, skills and enemies. They could even add new maps the way this is structured. If they will or not is another thing but regardless of what people say. I'm having as much fun as i can with this and making sure i get my moneys worth.
Sorry to those that aren't able to enjoy it. What i would ask is..... why didn't you refund? Or if you did.... why on earth are you still here?
It's kind of strange to see so many people so determined to tell those who enjoy games that they are somehow wrong or even outright attack them. Just go play something else and move on.
It's so weird that there are so many people who's lives and entire sense of person seems to pivot around how successful a game is and how they can't possibly let others enjoy it,

You mean 0/10. 5/10 is super generous since that's where most 'big' games sit these days.
The world and graphics are FINE not LAST GEN at all but not as mind blowing as people might like.
Quest running a bad mark??? Why do you even play this type of game??? Again DUH.
Now the truest fault to be had is the terrible AI and that is the most ruinous thing in the game right now besides some bad animations...Story is Good enough The worlds Beautiful and not badly laid out at all The looting could be better but still good...Nothing is wrong with the game really except the Stupidity of the AI.
People say games Suck and yeah sometimes they do but so do attitudes.

This game goes back to 2010 of grappics
And its needs 30GB of ram on ultra.
