Just open menu and go to horizon life tab, forzathon will be there.
You have two correct answers and the second is very detailed. Also, you can use change filters on the map menu: deselect all filters and then select seasonal events and seasonal PR stunts. The seasonal events give various rewards: cars, wheelspins or super wheelspins.
For the Forzathon points you will need to do the Forzathon random events (big red circle on the map), the daily challenges and the weekly challenge.
You can see the challenges in the Forzathon menu (won't repeat what the other steam user said about its location).
The Forzathon shop can be found under the same menu and if you want the backstage pass and the car sold in the store, you will have to grind some Forzathon random events on the map for points, along with the challenges.
The challenges bring about 260 points, enough to get 1 backstage pass, but if you want anytrhing else from the shop, you will have to go for the extra-mile.
Seasons will continue to change every thursday, so make sure that you complete those challenges and get whatever you need from the shop before the season change (personally i am going for BP and whatever cars i still do not have.
Hope it clarifies everrything.
It wasn't immediately obvious to me either. The button is kind of small and inconspicuous, and I used to access the menu through the festival playlist before.
Also for those looking to do the Star Cards, there are two Showcase Remixes to do this Summer season. You will also get Super Wheelspins for winning them. As for Online Adventure, I guess they are still going through a monthly rotation despite no Festival Playlist but the rewards are nothing more than wheelspins and some more credits, nothing really worth doing for Ranked play unless you're still looking to do the star cards.
But yeah, if you somehow didn't got the seasonal championship achievements and also want to finish the star cards, you can still do it. Just the Festival Playlist achievements should no longer be obtainable. Good luck to those who will try doing the Ranked Online Adventure star cards, the playerbase is definitely gonna go down for a bit until the weeks before delisting, so best to be patient or even plan schedules with others for Ranked Team Games and Ranked Drift Adventure. Also good luck on League 10 from here on out, I recommend Ranked Team Racing for that.
