Alchemy Table/List of compatible Reagents?
i have looked at the wiki and it doesn't actually have one, it only lists what specific Reagents target, not what alchemy herbs/etc they're actually combinable with.

is there one anywhere? i've tried searching fenoxo via google as well but i couldn't find a thread and i'm too lazy to make an account to ask there rn.

also, i tried combining a Reagent from Ivris with something it did show as being compatible with that Reagent, only to have <It seems like nothing happens> be the result upon use.

does that mean i should never try combining that with the Reagent again even though i *CAN* because it always won't work, or is there a chance % failstate condition for combinable herbs+Reagents?

If the wiki doesn't have it then I don't think such a list exists. Using a TF and having no effect means that you didn't meet the conditions for the effects to proc, which usually means you already have what the effects would give. If you already have fur and use the lupine TF refined to target your body, it won't give you fur again, for example. If you don't meet any of the conditions for any of the effects, you get the dud text.

If you try to combine it and it doesnt work then its not usable as such a transformative. Tf it comes out as nothing when you use it on your character you (like the dev said) dont meet the criteria for said transformative [already has trait, trait at max or locked via other criteria for e.g. soulbound (locks all nearly all transformations)] other than that you can select an ingredient/regent in alchemy and it will only show you the ones you can apply it too and are valid (in my experience atleast) [because even though i have a stack of all the regents i usually only get 3-5 options when i do alchemy which leads me to believe that these other parts/foci arent applicable for said ingredient].

ty for answering the questions i had.

i understand how the alch system works, i was hoping i could find a list of what reagents are compatible with what so i would know where to farm or what merchants to go to for buying the compatible carrier item for the effect.

There's no unified table, you have to go into the list of transformatives in the wiki and check each transformative to make sure of what they do.
