New Game?

Is now a good time to start a new game? I've been waiting out the updates for months that way when I start a new play through it will essentially feel like a brand new game. The most recent updates have had all kinds of new features and characters added so I'm curious if now would be a good time to do so. Thanks to anyone who shares their opinion for me

Is there any better time to start a new game than any other?

Really, the only better time to start a new game than "right now" is going to be when the game is out of early access.

Well that next big update is going to be Etheryn Quest so you could wait for that one to drop.

But there is no telling when the game will be out of early access. I've been following this game since long before it was on steam and while it has always gotten very stable and consistent updates there is just no telling how much longer it will be before then, literally could even be years down the line.

The best time is now, and the only other good time is at some far off point in the future we can't actually predict.

Other than those two points I can't really see any reason any given time is better than another.

Ah I see what you mean. Is there any kind of roadmap that I can checkout for the game? I remember there used to be one but I cant find one now

They haven't had much of a precise roadmap for new stuff being worked on for a while now, other than announcements of "hey, here's what some of the writers are currently working on" and the sudden small things being released weekly.

CoC2 development has been basically painless and smoothly stuck to its roadmaps. I'm quite pleased.

They have internal roadmaps that aren't released to the public, apparently. You can claim that this is as good as no roadmap, but that's the public stance.
