True, but in the CoC it was mostly all right. Also, this possibility is a little ray of hope that devs would like to work at this themselves at some point to avoid... more drastic (?)... content that potential modders would include. Still, even if it is not for images, I hope that CoC 2 will be mod friendly at some point. Even simple scenario creator/event editor could prove to be amusing given some people creativity :D
Exactly, and anything that won't be approved by them is stuff they do not wish to be a part of their game, for a multitude of reasons. So I'd say it's basically 100% guaranteed there will be no mods.
If they were going to reject something from being official, they certainly aren't going to allow modders to do it.
I myself am not a fan of modding games when they are still in the production phase. Its alot of work having to upkeep mods, when the base game is changing every month or so. And its honestly not fair to the game creators, as until they declare something "done" there is still a chance for them to add and change things to the game they are working on. When mods get involved, entire "concepts and ideas" can get hogged by different modders, and then the game devs cant add their own version of said content, without being accused of "stealing" it.
So yes, someone some day will mod the game, and No, it will never be officialy supported.
Go over to the Fenoxo Forums & check the thread for content submissions & the guidelines for those.
Yeah, murder, theft, rape, non-consensual body transformation and racism are all fine. Including all variations while pregnant.
Including the blatant transphobia, including fetishization and the perpetuation of harmful fictional tropes.
Can we talk about how there's only two masculine cisgender male characters in the entire game who you can have more than a single page of conversation / relationship with - and one of them is a hateful, abusive, emotionally unstable toxic specimen of masculinity?
I mean, as long as we're busy pearl clutching, can we worry about the things that actually are in the game which are insanely problematic before we worry about what completely unrelated and non-supported modders might or might not do with their own completely unrelated projects?
Good god, I have zero interest in discussing what you deem "problematic" in a smut game. If I did I'd join Twitter.
