Alchemy
I'm so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ confused with alchemy. I don't understand what will have an effect and what won't. If anybody has an in depth guide please let me know. I've seen that weird boxy graph before but I don't understand it. Give me very detailed things.

oh god i'm not the only one. i usually LOVE alchemy professions in games, but i have a hard time committing things to memory until i've read and used the "recipe" a few times. thing is..there are no in-game "recipe" guides that i can find, and I guess one aspect of this is that you are supposed to experiment (like in Skyrim) to figure out recipes but I find it frustrating. (edit- the reason i find it frustrating is because of due to the lack of storage space, i can't keep everything i find to then experiment with)

I have no storage space, i really want to learn alchemy, and I have no idea what to sell, keep, or really do! What's even worse is I'm about halfway through the current content on Normal difficulty and I haven't looked online for a guide yet, but I know i'll have to if I want to do my next replays on harder difficulties.

so yeah you are not alone, anybody got any recs?

come to think of it, is there a COC2 discord? bet these kinds of questions might be answered there.

It's actually quite simple.

You start with your basic transformation item. For example, Bovum Sherry causes the person who consumes it to experience random transformations into a Cowgirl. The problem is that, consumed on its own, it will affect body parts randomly.

That's where Alchemy comes in. If you combine the transformation item with a reagent, you can control which body part is affected.

For example, using Wild Melon means the transformative item will only affect the breasts. Combining Bovum Sherry and Wild Melon will make a potion that makes breasts more Cowgirl-like (in general, it will increase their size).

Laurel Sprig targets the head, so combining Bovum Sherry with Laurel Sprig will make a potion that will cause the user to grow horns or have their ears turn into cow ears.

tl;dr a reagent will limit the transformative item's effect to a single body part. That's it.

reagents don't take up inventory slots either

There's one I remember that gives four nipples, eight in-total, but other stuff is hard to add because all the writers have to add it. :nonplussed_creep:

I agree, I didn't really wanted to toss anything away in that game so far.
