also all of your companions are always available at the inn as well, but again there are almost no random events that happen with them there once they are in your party (with one notable exception of the black mage half breed who you may notice is not currently in the inn when you go looking for your companions, its an interesting little scene that plays out if you go looking for him)
All in all I'd love a more "got to collect them all" + random / new scenes that would occur after you establish relationships with all the different companions and major NPCs, especially if they involved some kind of progression as to how your relationship is unfolding with them. So I'd completely support your idea if they ever asked what we wanted = )
Im all about relationships and their related drama, and watching you harem interact with not only the MC but each other could provide alot of side quest material if they went there ; p
On a personal level I'd say that it would even further reduce the feeling of any of the relationships having a meaning, which I'd say is one of the bigger issues with many of the current companions, with the exception of maybe Brint/Brienne, and Etheryn, cause there at least the player can completely avoid giving Rynny to anyone else.
Edit: And especially Brienne is actually pretty much disinterested in other characters.
It could be an optional thing that if players want to do it they can, yet if they dont then they can hide/ignore the content of a Harem Romance.
Right now there just isnt any in game way of letting your Romances know what it is your looking for in / out of it. Being able to explore all options and choose what works for the player would make everyone happy no?
The answer to the full request is most likely no. It would require an immense amount of writing and coding, time better spent finishing the game and adding single scenes for more diversity.
as for the the in game content; i know of Cait's funt-times but for my preferences i mean with like Brint and Berwyn with my male or female character. But you are right Xenos
And yes it would take a lot of writing, and a lot of coding. Pretty much everything in this game does! None of it is game maker crap using store bought assets. One of the things that makes it so awesome! Every scene, Every character, Every Sprite is someones love child =)
I do not disagree that that could be cool, but I am hesitant to believe it would be done that way, given how player agenda is treated when it comes to that sort of stuff. It has become increasingly non-existent as far as I can tell, so I am worried if it would ever be implemented there would be a lot of non-optional scenes triggering where, yeah, the player can say "no", but only at the end and not before stuff is presented (an example for that would be Azzy & the Paladin, which kinda ruined the chemistry and relationship buildup between the champion and Azzyran in about 1/2 page of text that pops up again and again and it doesn't help 1 bit that there is the option to tell her "nah, not gonna hook ya up with someone else today".
If it would be done that way & if they would implement it as a toggle instead of having to read half a scene each time and then get the option to say "nah, but generally I'd ofc like that" (I am exaggerating a little ofc, but I think CoC 2 does a worse job when it comes to the NPC relationships than both CoC 1 (even without mods that try to finish the missing content) and especially TiTs, where the companions and romance options all feel meaningful and as if there is something growing between Cpt. Steele and the respective NPCs, even though the game is a lot less stringent than CoC 2, which sometimes is astonishing to me, but not in a good way, lol.
Still love the game without question, but that (just personally) is it's biggest weakness/shortcoming at the current point in development.
This might/will probably change in time, I can only hope.
If it's handled the way you suggest my points would ofc be invalid and I would totally support adding it, since more content is always a net positive, even if it's not my cup of tea.
No seriously, if you think about it, it almost feels like their OC's / characters are based on E-Girls they donated too, but never got a mention from and now they compensate by including their likeness in the game.
I have no trouble talking about and even complaining about the direction the devs take certain scenes or characters. But to take a personal stab at them like that just seems way beneath the belt.
Best way you can go about this: Be super generous to the Patreon. lol
They Devs work their asses off on content, so keeping that fuel tank running is the best way to see more stuff be implemented.
