Yes! With the latest patch of the game, the story progress of all players *had* to be reset (I think?), so to, sort of?, compensate, the devs, (if you played through the games tutorial again, without skipping a single part, added a secret song, Motherbound. It will appear at the end of the song list if everything is completed correctly. If it does not appear, you can go into the options menu for the game, and select the "reset story progress", (or something like that), option, and it will reset the story progress of the game once again. Complete the games tutorial, Proper Rhythm, and then the games intro, Familiar, (both in their "story versions", the version of proper rhythm that is the tutorial with the black background, and then the story intro section immediately after with the garage, that ends in the special version of Familiar), to unlock Motherbound.

I just did this verbatim and it didn't unlock the song?? I really wanna try this song, is there some way to go into the files to enable the song or something, I'm beginning to get really frustrated :(

The unlock method Kansamos provided is incorrect. You need to idle in the opening tutorial area (don't enter the band room) and wait for a special message to appear before getting the unlock.

Kinda bites that the bonus song only has one difficulty option, would have been nice to at least have like two with one in the 12-14 range like the easier max difficulty songs.

We'll be giving it a full range of difficulties in the future :)
