Multiplayer - "Unable to connect to host."

Need to see if anyone else has experienced this issue and if someone has found a resolution. Both my friend and I have this game on Steam, and we're unable to connect to one another. We keep getting the "Unable to connect to host." error. This is what we've tried:

The following applies to both computers:
- Ensuring co-op mode was toggled on and set to friends.
- Verified integrity of files for the game.
- Found the executable for the game and ran it as administrator.
- Restarted computers.
- Temporarily disabled firewalls.

Are their ports that need to be opened for a router? If so, does anyone know what those ports are?

I think at this point it is a bug. Having the same issue.

Having the same issue as of today and we've tried the same steps. Hopefully this is resolved soon!

there's no fix as of yet, Jess from FuturLab on the discord is asking players having this problem to DM her a room code for their game and from where in the world they're playing from.

Having the same issue, my game used to work fine multi player but ever since the update we cannot connect "to host".

Josh said in the PWS discord that an update was applied to the backend that should have fixed the co-op issues. Please let me know if it didn't!

I discovered an issue with a user on Windows 10 trying to host a game, 2 other Windows 10 friends could join but the 2 Windows 11 users couldn't join, got a connection timeout error. When one of the Windows 11 friends hosted, the other Windows 11 friend could join and so could the windows 10 friends.

So make sure your host is on Win 11 (which sucks) if you need both Win 11 and Win 10 friends joining.
