Example (After DLC install):
Set master audio slider to left side (lowest volume)
Return to Main Menu
Confirm audio is "off"/no audible sound
Shutdown Powerwash
Confirm in appdata config that Master Audio is set to a very low number (Mine was 1.xxxxxx)
Start Powerwash
Bug: Audio config setting is NOT remembered, and returns to default (70%?). Config remains at 1.xxxxxx.
Work around: Sliding Master Audio to any other %, and returning it to the very left fixes the issue.
Speculation: Is a integer to the millionth not valid on startup read of config? Or, is the config file invalid or the reader marking the setting as invalid for some reason?
Working around with the Windows Volume setting is no option for me because I want to listen to podcast simultaneously on the same PC.
Volume mixer, my dude, not just volume setting. The mixer allows you to adjust the volume of one program (in this case, PowerWash Simulator) without affecting the volume of other programs (ie. whatever you're listening to your podcasts with). Whatever program's volume you want to adjust with it only has to be running at the time.
