Maybe tweak the sound effects so they don't trigger anxiety attacks?
I suspect that I am in a minority when it comes to this and I won't be shocked if I get mocked for this, but something about the sound effects when using the power washer makes me incredibly anxious while playing. I have to make a conscious effort to take deep breaths to calm myself down while playing to avoid having to stop playing all together due to getting too anxious.

I'm not even sure what specifically about the sound effects triggers my anxiety, just that it does.

I would recommend maybe listening to something else while you play. Maybe something with someone talking, to give you something you can focus on that's not the noise.

Is it the sound of the powerwasher itself or is it when the water hits the surface (and maybe it is only certain surfaces)? Maybe try to determine this as this could help the devs quite a lot.

But as @FishyBeef said: Get someone to be with you when you play and figure it out what is causing it.

I have no idea. It might be the latter. It'd make my life easier if I knew what specifically was causing the anxiety. Though that also applies in general. Having an anxiety attack without knowing what the specific trigger is is frustrating.

All I know is that I started playing and felt my anxiety growing as I played to a point when I had to stop so I could get my anxiety/heart rate back under control.

I have tried lowering the volume for the water sound effects and such to see if that helps at least a little.

Like i said listen to something else, something calming. Something you can ground yourself with and use it to ignore the problem, It's probably something in the running water and/or forgetting to breathe right.
