I left the game for almost an hour didn't fix so went with delete the saves nothing and tried uninstall reinstall but my cursor is still stuck because the save are gone it's now doing it at the policy screen
TBH completely pissed because I've deleted all my progress for absolutely no reason it seems.
{Update}
tried my controller the circular cursor is stuck at the bottom of the screen with my controller i can move it left and right but thats it updated my post to reflect this originally thought it was just getting stuck as it was not responding to mouse
{Update 2}
Solved my issue turns out it's an old issue with having a steering wheel plugged in only got it recently and hadn't played since i got it, i disconnected it started the game was fine reconnected with game open problem recreated (thankfully it has a quick disconnect just at the back of the wheel) and i agree we shouldn't have to do this
The more new DLC the game has, the more it messes up.
I play with a controller.
I HAVE a controller plugged in. That's precisely the issue here. I don't WANT the game to listen to my controller, but deves never consider this to be an option. "Oh your Xinput device says x-axis poiting down? Aight, moving the cursor down!" ♥♥♥♥♥ that "Xinput device" is a gas pedal for sim racing, it doesn't return to 128 it returns to 0, can I PLEASE disable this and just use my mouse?!
Edit: I mean how hard can it be to code a "press ESC to disable controller input" kind of thing for these screens, and then a proper toggle somewhere in the options menu?
I dont know, I dont know how to code or make games. if you do, though, I think they may be hiring. until then, the general workaround is to unplug all inputs but mouse and keyboard
