Are there any tricks for NSWE orientation?

I'm sure some of you can relate to the fun of spraying out clean rectangular swaths with sharp clean edges.

This can be difficult because you need to align yourself perfectly (which can be more or less done (albeit not perfectly) with a combination of the right-click auto spray + C-detach keys)

But if there were a way to rotate to be oriented perfectly orthogonally with the principal axis of the level that would be amazing.

If it doesn't exist, it probably won't ever. My question is if it does or if there is some means by which one could accomplish this task otherwise.
