Room codes on steam deck

Hi all,

I want to enter a room code to join an xbox player from my steam deck but when clicking on the input box no on screen keyboard appears. i can force the keyboard to appear but the box will still not accept input.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Very annoying as this game is supposedly deck verified!

I've heard of this happen to a couple of people. If you can't type anything in the box, drop the keyboard down, tap a couple of places on the screen then try to bring up the keyboard to put the code in again
