Stuck on Detached house

Im at 99% and have one wooden trim not done. I've circled the house at least 6 times, tabbing and whipping my mouse around trying to find the one trim thats not done. I genuinely can't find it.

I had the same problem. My nemesis was a painted board of wood trim next to the garage door, oriented horizontally. The sun reflected so brightly on it that I couldn't see the white, pulsating pattern or the orange/yellow glow of the game's dirt detectors.

If you click on the item listed in the details, it will highlight the trim that still has work to be done on it.

had the same issue, for me it was 6 wooden trims that i couldnt see even with tab. Turns out they were all ones next to the porch/garage where i forgot to clean the underside of them.

Tried to check again near the garage, rewashed everything near there, and nothing. Tried the details thing, but nothing was glowing that I saw. Am I insane or something? I genuinely can't find it.
NEVERMIND FOUND IT. It was a tiny fraction of a dot on the porch in the backyard.

In these instances, with all the help they give you with the new update, it's still helpful to notice what you're looking for, literally look at every single one for the tick on the bar, even if looking from afar, also lots of trims in some levels will be hidden or really small, like under windows and still count as a separate item to clean, just a tip

I'm day 3 suck at 99% because of 1 wood trim. I circled the house spraying all the trim many times. I circled the house spraying all the trim with wood cleaner. I used the highlight dirt feature and there is no orange highlighting that I can see. I think the fact that so many people are getting stuck by the same thing is a flaw in the level design. This is supposed to be a chill relaxing game. I'm not relaxed right now

Clicked on the wooden trims 20/21 in the details which is supposed to highlight the item I missed. Circled the whole house again.....nothing is highlighted

The highlighting has stopped working for me. It did what it was suppose to at first, but I've noticed the last few days that it is not working; so, you're not alone in that.

As Anakha suggested, try on top. I do believe it is hidden there.

The highlighting is too subtle and difficult to notice depending on the colour of the object.

I found that anything I missed was never anything small, tiny, minute etc, as some people are reporting. If anything is that small the program is designed to accept that area as completed and it flashes, then you hear a ding. If anything has held me up it's always been something larger, never just a speck.

What is missing? Have you made sure that the bar for all the items is fully empty?

Me too stuck at 1 wooden trim that I just can't find!!!

No, I don't think it is a bug as I've seen threads with hints for others who have issues with it. I think most of us or, at least, many of us have issues with one job or another finding that last 1% of dirt. I know I've been there a time or two. Anyway, one of the wood trims on the detached house that seems to cause people issues is near the garage. Make sure to crouch down to search for it.

Make sure that you cleaned this wooden trim:

Parts of it are obstucted and you have to go to the side of it to properly clean it.
