But, I prefer just blasting the gunk off with water. :-)
I've played story mode through 3 times now (most of it during Early Access). Soap is not necessary. It can help, but it seems more likely to be a hindrance.
I find soap to be useful for cleaning up tiny spots I might miss and can't seem to find.
Soap, not enough of it and it runs out too quick, think a bottle should last a lot longer than 30 sec.
What we need are the rest of the equipment. like the ground cleaner thing.
The turbo and 0 degree nozzles seem to be more effective at getting tough spots, so unless something changes I probably won't be buying any more.
So I restarted the campaign, used the first washer until I could afford the $2000 washer, then bought the pro washer as soon as I could afford it. I started doing minimum expenditure strategies, and with those strategies, the soap nozzles and soaps are simply an unneeded expense. I completely finish each job for the bonus payment, as well. There's some annoying geometry, but not huge amounts.
I did get frustrated that there's an accomplishment for having all the types of soap, but not for completing the campaign without any soap nozzles owned.
The achievement you suggest would require a complete reset for anyone who already owned one (probably 99% of the early access players).
