Xbox S Cross Play Question

Hey folks! My friends and I are having problems with Cross play. We're both on Desktop but his partner is on PC. When we Co-Op with each other we have no issues. But when either of us Cross play with her there's a delay that gets progressively worse.
We've done some testing and research and found if the players are on different Frame Rate caps the delay occurs. But once we match Frame Rates (Say limiting to 144fps) there's no issues.

So I was hoping if anyones had this issue and found a fix to help us, but also if anyone knows the FPS cap on the Xbox Series S so we can match them.
