Not saying it can't be improved. But that's not something the game devs can do anything about, the issue isn't in their reach.
Edit: Thank you whoever you are for the 'I can't make a decent counterargument' award. Points well spent.
So many new levels and a few DLC packs already released and they didn't add new achievements. Why wait until a Paid DLC for achievements? Kinda dumb.
It's not gonna discourage me from getting the DLC because I like the game, but it is kinda shady.
Well I mean like I said the spongebob DLC itself is fine, I don't even care that it's the only paid DLC, it's licensed so yea, I'm surprised the Tomb Raider and FF7 ones weren't paid.. I'm just wondering why it's the only one with achievements. I feel like they should've added some to the FF7 and Tomb Raider ones as well.
Because they need to do them for the console Version either way, as MS/Sony have the rule that paid (content) dlc must have achievements.
New to achievement hunting? DLC's is the bane of my existence when it comes to 100%'ing a game. However, this is and will continue to be an annoyance. If a game supports steam features, updates and DLC often mean more achievements. Most of the time it only hurts my wallet, but some games add Multiplayer achievements after release, that not only require you to play with others, but often requires excellent teamwork, RNG or skill.
The most recent examples are Outlanders which got a $40 DLC that sucked, but required you to grind with a team of 4 to get 100% again. I've given up trying to get that hundo back as the game is too dead and way to boring to even attempt. Then there is Fallout 76 which added this expeditions that is designed for co-op, but I managed to cheese my way through without having to min/max my character.
This is a personal opinion, but I found this DLC stupid, just as a concept. You are cleaning underwater with... water. As I'm not a fan of spongebob that might be the reason I found it to be boring. I got some of the references because of memes, but perosnally I could think of hundreds of other IP's that would have been way cooler to implement. They already have. The Croft manor is much better and I would have paid for that one. When it was announced I actually thought it might have been a $10 DLC.
