Purchased new washer and can't equip it

I bought a new power washer (forget the name), go to wash the golf cart, and it's not available to equip. Am I stupid or is this a bug? The money is definitely gone, so I didn't mess up trying to buy it.

All right, first question: are you sure you're doing it right?

The washer is equipped from the E menu by clicking on the washer, NOT the washer's square's bottom right corner, which only changes the skin.

If that's not it, please double check from the shop that you did buy an actual washer and not just a skin. You can't buy the same washer twice, it will have been marked as owned.

And if that's not it, I'm going to need some more details! Never seen anyone report this as a bug, so I'm assuming user error until proven otherwise - no offense. I'm also happy to help resolve any user errors.

Thanks. I figured it out and forgot to follow up here. I was trying to select a different washer with the wrong option, (the one to select the optional extension). I will mark your post as the correct answer to mark the thread resolved.
