Subway platform edge absolutely spotless, but...

Love the new subway level. I was trying to finish it this evening when it said I had a Platform Edge that wasn't finished. I have since carefully washed up and down the entire edge about 3 times, including the top edge facing the platform in case it had a lip I didn't know about. The Platform Edge is absolutely spotless now. I also carefully sidestepped down the station, pressing Tab and inspecting it. There just isn't any dirt left to see or clean. I have the latest version (at least Steam doesn't have an update for me, although I can't find the version number anywhere in-game). What can I do to fix this?

If you care, it's the Platform Edge next to the tracks where the "Driving Me Nuts" billboard is the furthest to the right.

I also have this bug. I just got to 99% and it said platform edge not complete. I have washed from one end to the other and it will not go past 99%. I go slow and hit tab to see the dirt and there is nothing dirty on the edge.

Eli, hopefully one of us finds out where the dirt is. it's bugging me not having 100%.

Many different angles, top and bottom.

Any other ideas? I just went through and hit it from every angle again, no luck. Is there a command-line thing I can do that will help with this in some way?

Have you tried soap? It might get something that can't be seen.

You're a genius. :) I got about halfway from the train signal to the stairway, spraying the Platform Edge with Metal Soap, and damned if that didn't finally take care of it. Thanks very much! I want to get to this fortune-teller thing everybody's talking about. :)

Sadly I'm not that lucky. I have the same issue as Eli, got one edge to 99% but I can't find the last specks of dirt to make it 100%. Even worse? I tried using the soap suggestion... I went all the way down the track and it didn't go 100%, and I'm also out of metal cleaner.

Edit: Turns out I didn't need the metal soap, thank god. I used another one (Multi-Purpose) and found it.

I'm stuck with exactly the same thing, which is how I found this thread so will try the metal cleaner and see if that clears it...

I used metal cleaner as mentioned above and that solved it for me...
