Do you use soap?

Nope. Soap is absolutely not needed as everything can be cleaned without it. Even if you use the Prime Vista 1500 on Oil or Rust. You only need the red nozzle for that.

I do, on some things like the subway level, it works very well, especially if you use the right soap for the particular surface you are washing. I would have pulled my hair out if I hadn't of had soap. One negative thing I will say about soap, it runs out too fast. There isn't a soap anywhere in the real world that runs out that fast. I know this isn't real world but I think the soap needs to last much longer. Aside from that I think it works well on heavily soiled areas.

I only use soap in challenge mode when you either are against the clock or your water consumption. For all the other levels, it's completely unnecessary.

Rarely, maybe when I do the challenges I might use it more.

I know it helps and sometimes I'll use it if I'm having a problem reaching a tight area to see if it will click over.

But for a regular job it seems like using it is just doubling the effort as I'm going to have to go back over the surface again anyway. Espeically since it doesn't make it "easier" to clean since the grime and such comes off under the nozzle of the professional washer no matter what.

Rarely, but on the occasions when I do I just spritz it on the most difficult spots if I just want to finish it.

I only use soap occasionally in free play. I never use it during the campaign. Waste of money.
In free play, since you have an infinite supply and only need to reload the cannister, I have a macro assigned to one of my mouse buttons that keeps hitting tab and hits R every 20 seconds or so so that I don't have to fuss with reloading.

Nope, never needed it. Just use elbow grease and the red jet for stubborn stains.
