Treehouse is so frustrating

Why is the treehouse such a massive difficulty spike? Suddenly there's parts, like the rim joists and the underside sections, that I have to hunt down specks of dirt so tiny Ant-Man wouldn't be able to see them. This map turned this fun, relaxing game into an exercise in frustration.

Use the smaller construction towers to see and get these spots more easily.

Just use the menu that shows you whats missing, right click and the area will highlight on the map and it's easy to find. No problem at all.

The tree house can be sucessfully cleaned. I spent the entire game up to the tree house learning how to use my tools and how to be patient. To me, the tree house is like a final exam in Powerwasher technique and personal persistence. Hang in there and don't get frustrated. Also, pay attention to the advice of Wolfgang and Danish Pastry above. If you're getting frustrated with the part of the house you're currently cleaning, move to another part of the house and start hosing; it all has to be cleaned and eventually you'll be calm enough to return to the frustrating part.

The tree house is indeed tuned to expect you to do more cleaning behind the joists than most earlier levels. To me, however, this isn't an issue of difficulty or frustration though, it just asks me to check more angles which I find enjoyable.

That said, your reaction surely will help inform future dirt completion/tuning.
