Tree House (go figure)

I literally need just one last part and it would be on the most buggy and frustrating map so far. It's the Window Frame on the top part of the Tree House. The one that is right above the door to the house but there is literally no dirt or whatever showing up when I press Tab. Can anyone please help?

you have a "pda" of sorts, lets you buy stuff in level, or look at the details of the job and each part with a money breakdown. on this screen the "details" you can see whats done and whats left CLICK ON any of the not done details and go back to the washing and youll see the part highlighted flashing. so if there are multiple wood trims..only the ones not done 100 percent will flash.
so in your case your details screen should show one window trim not done.
highlight it by clicking on it int he details screen and go back to washing.. that frame should be flashing...now there might be a strip on top of the frame or the underside or sides...
something you can see easily. i had a part of the big shoe house took my 3 different play sessions to find. it was a wood trim up top...no angle let me see the orange glow when tabbing to highlight dirt... i just spam sprayed the whole area with soap and used all the nozzles and eventually it triggered clean and job done.

I'm having the exact same problem. I've tried pressing Tab to see the orange indicator, going on the list and highlighting what's missing and nothing has worked =( I even tried using the wood cleaner but it didn't help at all

Exact same problem on the exact same window frame. Also one of the balance steps. I've checked the details screen...it's flashing white, but no dirt. I've sprayed it with every nozzle, from every angle, with every soap. No dice.

I'm having the same problem. I've sprayed that one step from every direction I can think of with every nozzle, and even with wood soap. I see there is mud splats according to the HUD, but I can't get rid of it and I don't even see it with the tab view either.

i am having problems with the left side gas can on the BBQ if anyone has any ideas but I have tried everything. Its the last thing on the tree house but there is a very small spot somewhere

have you tried climbing up and hitting the top edge or the top of the bottom edge?

those were wonky. try hitting the inside of the top of it and the very bottom edge

Question.... did this happen since the update?
I'm having a similar problem with the Tree House Level, but with a lantern... no orange pixels showing the dirt, but when I aim the nozzle at it, it says dirt streaks, moss, grime, but no visual dirt . After two hours of spraying with every nozzle and applying two bottles of soap with no effect, I pressed F8 and reported it directly to the developers. I am seeing quite a few complaints of the exact same thing... 99%, no orange pixels from tab key, and unable to go forward into the game... and I've played this entire game 4 times and never had an issue before... and it only happened since the update yesterday.
I believe it has something to do with the settings and they increased the percentage for us to clean for "automatically cleaned" and put those changes in the update.
Just my opinion, but it is the only conclusion I can come to.
I hope it is fixed soon, as I am completely stuck and there are no new levels showing for me to play... even the ones with the update.

I can't say because this is my one and only playthrough, but it does suck that we're all stuck and there's nothing we can do about that =( I wish we could at least finish the job when it's 90% done or something so we could at least move on with the game.

i'm having the same issue with one of the fascias on the treehouse. no orange pixel dirt showing and i have used every nozzle for over an hour now and nothing is happening. This is very frustrating!

I'm having a similar issue in the Treehouse, but in my case, its the underside mid and top rim panels, specifically the circular ones around the tree, i've been spraying them both with everything, including the wood cleaner spray but nothing works, i want to believe the speck of dirt on both of them are hidden within the tree, and because the tree is a solid object, acts like a shield to it. I've spent around 2 hours doing that clean, only to be stumped by a tree, litrally.

Yes, since the update only. Hadn't had a problem before then. Same thing with me aiming the nozzle directly at where it says dirt, moss, and grime streaks (all in one tiny little area) but no visual dirt or indicator with the TAB/orange highlighting.

I'd love to be able to progress and see the new content updates, but can't advance past this level anymore (I'm on a new save file).

Something else I noticed that leads me to believe this is actually a bug since the update is that both of the locations with the issue have the exact same levels of mould/lichen/mud/etc. and that no matter how long I spray (or with which nozzle or soap) the levels never go down.

yes i restarted the game after the update and now im stuck with this stupid gas can.
