Just talked to my uncle who has a friend who has a neighbor who has a cousin who works at nintendo and he says it was 100% the pancakes.

Suggestive content. I would give it 16+. NSFW either way (NSFW stends for not safe for work, and it kinda is).

what?
what's in this game that's only for 16+???
the only real inappropriate content is Judgement's outfit, but you can see worse IRL simply by going to the beach or just looking at billboards

Religious theme about making a harem of bad girls goes outside of children thematic alone. But what gives, I wouldn't play this game on the job just because of art style (if I even risked to play a game on the job). Maybe on a phone though.

Where do you work that people go around in swimsuits? Asking for a friend.

I honestly think it's multi-faceted. Here are a few culprits I have in mind:

1. Well-intended, but non-commited persons who take one look at the game, make a guess as to what it's about, and make a vote accordingly;

2. Individuals who have played the game, and maybe some who haven't, who are as turned on by women in full-covered office/military wear as I am, who might think their coworkers would agree, and tag accordingly;

3. Trolls of the same mischievous comic genius who tag Disney Princess games with "Illuminati" and "Psychological Horror";

4. Vandalistic rapscallion whippersnappers;

and

5. The uglier side of the anime fandom.

Unfortunately, some weaboos have been hardcoded to:

- View *any* character that is hand-drawn and/or animated to be "anime" or held to the standard of anime; and

- Assume any attractive drawn girl to be a hentai character; and

- Mark the medium as getting their cult's "seal of approval".

6. Individuals who may consider the fan-made NSFW material to be "official", or close enough to merit the tag;

and lastly;

7. A sparse few people who have come to the realization, as I have, that Beelzebub in her base form is completely naked and has obvious, voluptuous, uncensored mammaries on display. Before she tucks them into that suit for the secret ending, of course.

Collectively these votes may have been enough to land Helltaker a misapplied tag on the Steam store.
