The riddle mission was not done right!

I really think the riddle me this mission should be changed! I mean we are supposed to solve the riddle, but if you track the mission it shows you exactly where to go! Where is the fun in finding it at this point?

Is this changed? Or maybe it depends from the difficulty level?
AFAIR at least for the first box I got shown an area and it took me quite a while to find the box.

The mission marker shows you a general area of where to find the box, after that it's up to you and Noah's artistic endeavors. That said, I didn't have much trouble finding any of them, because the area marker is fairly small. The first one (excluding the box right underneath the tree house) took me the longest, because I had never been in the area and most of it looked the same everywhere. The second and third were in distinctive enough locations that the search was over quickly.
