Hollywood the ghost

Hey hunting community, Im super frustrated with the hollywood hunt. When I first got the mission, investigated the water need spot, returned to the lodge and then walked all the way back. There he was, only I royally messed up the shot, and since then, ZERO mule deer spawn in that entire hollywood area, no game at all. Ive walked the area multiple times now, checked back time and time again days and weeks later, nothing. Hollywood aint there, and no other wildlife is in that entire zone. Its been literally 7 hrs in game basically wandering around going blind trying to catch a glimpse. Is this some sort of glitch with spawning?? There is no way to abandon and restart a mission so i guess im kind of sunk. I left it fed up multiple times, went around and killed some deer in other areas, but at this point I just want to move along with the story and get into some other zones with larger/different game. Has anyone found a fix for this after having the terrible aim on hollywood that I did the first time. Lol, whats strange is I know I drew blood but lost the blood trail into the forest, and that was ingame weeks ago now, so am I just sunk?

Yeah, i messed up my shot too. spent the next 7 hours and no re spawn, literally stuck on this one quest...now what? Guess I'll delete the game/saves then reinstall and start all over again!

This sucks...and after several hours of very careful playtime with no Hollywood joy, that's what I did: delete game saves.
I finally took the stupid Muley with the messed up horns out of the gene pool, but had to start all over to get it done. I then went duck hunting to complete one of the next objectives and had a few ducks that I downed disappear right in front of me...soon after that, I got a fatal error.
I'm done.
I'm going to back-burner this buggy pos until they get it straightened out...It's not worth the frustration...can't recommend this game right now

For me i got an even more strange bug. Was making my way up the road with the binocs and suddenly "Thats Hollywood" didnt even see a single deer. waited 3 days and not a single animal..... must be stuck in the hill or something. this is worse than COTW

I completed this mission, and several days later i was hunting for <40% fitness bucks and i put 5 shots in one before he went down. I found my kill and tried to sell but i couldnt. Then I looked at the deer's species and it read "Hollywood"! The dude is back from the dead!!!

Yep. That's exactly what is happening to my friends and my game too. Hollywood is back. We can now fill our cabin with Hollywood Taxis?
