Tips for more realistic graphic
Hello Hunters!

I thought that I may share some of tips of mine to give you a more realistic look of the game, while I think that default look is a way too colorful and bright.

First of all a little tip for all of you who can’t play with DLSS technology and have an AntyAlasing problems.
In game options I set everything on ultra and AA temporal. I play 1440p with a FOV 95 with 1080Ti, Ryzen 7 3800X - average FPS 42, High 58. In nVidia windows panel I also set AA to polish these in game. All texture optimizations I set to off.

Next I use GeForce Experience filters.
Here you have my settings (everyone should adjust them to their monitor settings). For me playing that is the most and best immersive and realistic I could achieved.

Good hunting to you all!

PS. If you have some another tweaks of GeForce Experience filters used, please share with us in the comments 🙂

Yes, after one of the last updates the color matching is very bright now, although the color matching was relatively good before. In my opinion, a brightness, contrast and gamma adjustment option is missing.

Agreed, the game is way oversaturated, with too vivid colors.

yep, perhaps that´s why i like Transy map most; its more green and less yellow and red :-)

on rtx3060:
1440p with dlss, medium shadows and high view range puts fps at 60/vsynced/60hz with about 10% wiggleroom for the gpu. at least at the very first scene.

for filters i just use a basic sharpening filter with both sliders cranked to 100%, that just looks best when i play on my tv. full dynamic range enabled in nvidia control panel's resolution section for better color range (limited is still default), then finetune digital vibrance to your liking if u want more or less color. in the desktop color section of nvidia control panel

as mentioned in the other thread, to disable chromatic aberration which causes color distortion at the edges of the screen you need to add the following to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\WayOfTheHunter\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\engine.ini

[SystemSettings]
r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0

lastly to prevent any windows size and scaling issues u can r click WayOfTheHunter-Win64-Shipping.exe in C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\WayOfTheHunter\WayOfTheHunter\Binaries\Win64 go to properties> compatibility> change settings for all users> change high dpi settings> use high dpi scaling override setting: application

GeForce Experience filters are bugged out of the game after patch 1.26.

You can use Reshade and the Tonemap setting to adjust colors , brightness and much more..... It is less invasive than Geforce Experience...
