Animals DO leave tracks, just cause in the game they DON"T does not make it REAL

It's a game No Matter how you play it or any other game. Animals still leave tracks.

To 6taylor, you did not read what I wrote. I said the ICONS (animals symbols) are the same on all maps. I know the maps are the same. I'm reference is that these icons are all the same in every map yours mine, Antorius. That's the arcade style, And I do like playing this game, I just wish it was more realistic. And yes it's new to me, I got it after the survey ended. I hadn't played much but was trying to understand it layout. I have about 5000 hrs with COTW. I only have about 400 hrs with this game and we all would like to see improvement and extras such as one person would like to see tree stands. another would like pistols. I didn't mean to come off as a game dislike player. Hell at 73 I think this is as close as I'll get to real hunting anymore. All the games have their good and bad points even COTW. When they came out with New England Mountains I was loosing animals that I shot. They did an update and it got fixed. It's all fun. I got use to COTW I have a lot of hrs on it. it will be Okay.

I'm sorry, I still don't get it; what am I missing? I certainly want all players to understand the map and how it works. So, these icons - specifically which ones? Animals/zones/lodges/campsites?
How would you expect them to work?
How would you make it more realistic?
Help me to understand this difference that you see. Thanks.

Sorry for cutting your comment down, it's no disrespect to your thoughts. You have real hunting experience - a lot of us don't, or hunted small game only.

I think there could be a level above Ranger that becomes even harder but more 'real'. The debate usually is 'well don't use cars/tripods' and what not, but I'd like to see another level, where you really have won your game the hard way.

And - Brit person here - would love to hear more about the way your family hunted for real when you needed the meat. Be cool and keep your powder dry!

Alf Tupper. I like that last line. But bud I'm old just not that old, lol. It will all come together. we Do have a common ground just in different ways. I'll tell you about my old hunting days some other time, OK. Oh, I still have one last map to start and a lot of catching up.
