Questions about Callers
There are two callers for mule deers:
-Primos Big Buck Rattling Bag: Attracts "lower" fitness males
-Deer Grunt Caller: Attracts "low" fitness males

I am able to succeed by using Primos in all cases. It lures deers from young to mature, from %10 to %50 fitness. When I use Deer Grunt Caller along with Primos, no animal responds to the call. I have started thinking that Deer Grunt Caller doesn't seem to be working. What's the difference between "lower" and "low"?

There are also callers for ducks and goose. They don't seem to be working as well. One has the feature: Attracts landing ducks. Does this mean it makes the ducks, which are flying, land or it lures the ducks that are already on the ground? Both options didn't work out for me. Other duck caller is to "wench for all ducks". What does this mean?

A caller only attracts the species that is listed in it's description.

Callers level with player, and can develop to lure certain fitness level animals. You change the fitness type with mouse wheel or up/down keys.

It can be tricky figuring out which fitness an animal is because you only find out after killing it. These callers are designed to help sort that out, but they aren't very accurate.

A three star mature may or may not be of high fitness. Same with one star adult. So calling them helps to figure this out.

Not sure about that duck call. Really no need to attract ducks that are already landing, unless they mean it to be used to lure birds that are landing too far from you.

Both low and lower call animals under 50%. That is the cutoff for all low/high fitness callers. As Geronimo wrote, not every caller is for every animal. Also, note the different caller levels (Primos rattling bag at level 1 calls low fit, deer grunt at level 1 calls does) and note that not every eligible animal will always respond to a call (that is by design).

As for bird callers, they are designed to make flying birds fly lower to the ground (and thus easier to shoot with a shotgun).

Hey. I didn't expect to see you in here. I was reading your comments about the herd management on Reddit. They are very helpful. I would like to ask you a question about distinguishing low and high fit animals by using their physical apperances. I see that people check uneven antlers and skin tones when it comes to differentiate between low and high fit deers. What is the case for, let's say, ducks or mountain goats that don't even have a caller in this game?

I am a community manager for THQ Nordic, so you will find me all over Discord, Reddit and Steam. :)

For animals that don't have low fitness caller, your best bet is taking only 1 star matures.
