If you get attacked, the bears kill you.

To answer your Q: No.

This one time only with the Black Bear mission where he can run you over on purpose.

All the other times that you can get run over by a fleeing/running animal is purely luck & not intentional.
You were in its way, period.

Some like to think & make believe that it was the intention of the fleeing animals, but it's not.

Thank you.

Btw, I would not be in favor of animals being coded to attack you.

Not really. Sometimes a badger bites you and you see a red indication that you were hurt, and bigger animals can run over you (Wapitis), then you lose conciousness.

In Hunter Classic the bears, mountain lions, bison and moose will attack and kill.

It gets old fast. It's not realistic anyway. I hunted for almost 70 years and was never attacked.

hehe im not a hunter at all, and that it could happen is very slim but that it might happen if im at the wrong place wrong time would keep me so on the edge ^^

Do rattle snakes count OldMtnMan , Lots of people get attacked while camping hunting ,just being In the out doors can get you hurt tons of video on you tube , I could name off at least six close calls for me mostly rattle snakes alone and other people In camp. A friend of mine went with his friend , near Los Angles calif he was sitting on a ledge heard a strange noise turned did not see anything went back to looking for deer , My friend told me a few hours later could not find his friend . Anthony went back to the ledge and looked down off the hill and saw him down below he thought he fell down about 30 or 40 feet steel incline , gets down to him and his fingers were all chewed up lost some of fingers and dam near scalped and does not remember a thing, took him to the hospital and did xrays on him , They found a tooth In his skull any Idea what It Is? I had a cougar come In at night or pig scream so loud It was terrifying It would not leave even after shot our deer rifles several times even tried to circle us one time we packed out that night under head lamps.Im 62 now but back then I was 20 or so when that happened I will never forget that night.

Ive also had Multiple close calls hunting. I think it all depends on where you hunt imo. I hunt mainly Northern BC near Alaska Border, I have had many run ins with Grizzly over the years, a few Moose (cows mainly protecting perceived threats to their calves, a wolverine charged me almost shot myself in foot on that occasion. But funny enough the most dangerous run in I ever had was at a local game farm (zoo) A male elk was bugling, so I went to investigate and practice a bit of my calling, he was obviously in full rut. A few grunts and I worked this boy up into a frenzy and he started to ram the wire fence that separated him and I and the rest of the visitors. He would slam into the fence, and it would give almost completely away. I kinda hightailed it out of there, but he persisted in ramming fence many times. Ill never forget that encounter!

your stories holy #)("/... i live in South Norway had couple of close calls but nothing that dramatic here its been mostly Moose that has been way way to close with the cubs, but they just stood their ground checked me out to see if i was of any danger to them.. then the mother was checking the cubs as they where faar from us then she went! But what im saying it can happen, and i would love to have some interaction with the animals or them between themselves like mating/birth whatever ^^. Game as of now is a wonderful gem but right before cloudsave was implemented i did have a format and now i have to do it all again, the world aint that "exiting" to treck through whole story once more. I just want to be immersed and you have me so close Way of the hunter

Rattlers give a warning when you surprise them with their rattle. It's easy to just go around them. I don't consider that being attacked. It's just part of being in the mountains where I live.

Bears are the same way. They'll charge if surprised. Normally, they just run off. I hunted for bears for 60 years. I understand them and avoid doing something that would make it charge.

Mountain lions can be unpredictable but again if you're cautious trouble can be avoided. Your example of hearing a sound and not doing anything cost him.

With that all said. Classic has overdone the charges. Every bear, mountain lion, moose, and bison will charge us if we get close. Even when they have an escape route and that's unrealistic. It gets old and kills immersion for me.

yeah if they added something like it, just knowing that there is a chance.. not everytime but say you miss a shot or scare them and they show their might, i would literally crawl like a shrimp sucking my thumb ^^

First off poisonous snakes don't warn you most times even less when coiled most times you step on them or step to close and they just strike at you. I always hope I run Into them stretched out so they can't strike., so i don't know what your talking about. Well what you think you know Is not very much. And no it was not a Lion . You seem do dead set on dumping on Classic I do like COTW , I have more fun In that game the way Its set up. This game WOTH still needs some work on It and I can wait till then or when bows are added. Seems like you know everything or think you do about animals and snakes best of luck to you out In the field..........

This post Is about Horses been on so many trips In the back counrty and all the mishaps that can happen to you. Clyde lake area and Frank Temoke Jr a good friend passed away two years ago. One I was wearing a back pack a branch hooked on to It pulling me off the horse being dragged across builders thank the good Lord my foot came out of sturop could have broken my leg. Two stung by meat bees while on trail . First horse stirs them up and then they come back attack the horses In the middle, Had one go above my boot and sting me and my horse It then bolted thru the trees ,the hunters at end of the line got bit went crazy and ran back down the trail. Three straps loosened on saddle up and before Frank could get to me saddle and me fell off.
Four Horces were crossing a creak and the pack horses went between two trees pulling on the reins , they got spooked and and started strangling each other until one was killed It was horrible . Stock broke free and when we got them back animals would not go by the area to cross he had to cover horse so the stock could not see the dead horse. Five horse steped on rattle snake and died In camp at buckeye camp calif fish and wild life was notified and horse was taken out.Six Horses broke loose and packers were late picking us up . We had to go out at night could not even see my pants legs we also went thru steep country , could not see a thing could not even see the horse while riding him or her. Horses have great eye site at night amazing.....those are some of my Horse storys what can happen on trail. I have one more Clyde was taking us In and two hunters followed us In to wood chuck lake we were at camp and a guy showed up with out a horse.

We asked him where his horse was , He said his horse dumped him In wood chuck lake he was all wet. Half hour later the horse showed up In camp ,the big guy walked over punched the horse so hard many times the Impact was dam near bone crushing and with his bare hands . Needless to say nobody said anything after what that horse went thru........
