The Jeeps are too slow.

My Jeeps only drive 30km/h on road and are much slower on ascending streets.

Is there a way (maybe even a cheat) how to increase this? This is unbearingly slow. I know that this should be a slow-paced hunting game. but there are no fast travel opportunities except houses. Walking is slow, and now even the cars are slow. This is not cool for exploring.

there is a Perk ... after 100km will be more silent - will spook animals from shorter distance, after 150km gonna be faster by 20% if i remember correctly .... sadly, there is no perk to improve how this cars sounds, coz they sounds hoooriblle :D

I agree to a certain point that the Jeep is pretty slow.
But, that said, it gives me the time to admire a bit the surroundings & besides, with some of the roads out there, ( being tight, with turns & curves & trees ) lets me have my Jeep for longer,lol.
Meaning, that I don't go off road too much & run into trees & make accidents. Because if my Jeep is totaled, that would be even slower right?!

Asking for a cheat is stupid!

All the campsites can also be used for fast traveling. There are a lot of them, so you'll always be able to fast travel to within a few hundred meters of where you want to go once you have discovered them.

i have a idea for using the Jeep in 2 ways:

1) as it is
2) as a cabinwagon for sleep but with loosing your warehouse ability so you have only the 2 rifles and equipment from your starting poing. But more ammo should be loaded.

this way you have to choose ;-)

It's fast enough to fly out of kurves, but I agree it could do with a few more horsepower.

I love the #vanlife idea for an alternative jeep camper configuration!

I guess I didn’t find the Jeep too slow even before the 20% speed perk unlocked. With it unlocked, I find myself cruising at half throttle (analog controller on PC) unless I’m going up a steep hill. Part of that is that I barely have time to slow down to avoid hitting (possibly 5*) animals that dart across my path.

Besides a real lack in power, in speed, I'm having a blast with it.

The "Jeep" is not very well done. The whole thing looks like a Tonka toy. They should have paid another developer for a proper vehicle. There are so many games with realistic cars, why not collaborate with people who have already done it right?

I'm not positive, but I think my transmission seems to be slipping by the sounds and lack of speed increase.
