It's a 'guide rifle', which might be carried by a guide and used for close in defense should it be necessary to protect the party from predator attacks, the guide doesn't hunt necessarily.
It's a little surprising to see both of these shots fall short of proper ethical energy at this modest range.
That’s what I found in my research on this rifle. It’s really not meant to be a hunting rifle but a close range defense weapon and that’s why it strikes me as a very odd addition to a game that’s focused on hunting. There just doesn’t seem to be any point to it.

.350:

So with the competition rigged in its favor the .350 does win, but only just. Once again I'm really stunned by this and I think I'll just be leaving the .350 in the storage locker from now on.
Yes I have that DLC. I'll jump back onto the game later today and post the results.

Once again, I tried to tilt the odds in the favor of the .350 by getting as close as I could. Here's a shot from about 130 yards on a 1 star mature lion:

And here's a shot from 100 yards away on a 1 star adult lion:

And as a bonus, here are a couple of pretty crazy shots I hit with the 9.3 from about 300 yards away. Bear in mind I was only trying to hit the lungs so I do think there is something to the expansion damage with this rifle:

So the conclusion is pretty obvious. If you're hunting lions, leave the .350 at home and take the 9.3x62 instead.
they aren't always sub-moa rifles irl but they shouldn't be THAT bad. I'm surprised Remington hasn't made them take their rifles out of the game at this point.
