Buffden Apex Predator

I've looked in Discussions, have found references to it, but it is not available to purchase in either the computer or the storage safe. It IS in the Encyclopedia and doesn't mention that it's a DLC that has to be purchased first, so where is it?

All I show in the computer and safe for crossbows under 'Shop' is the Harpe Wonderhit, tier 2-5. This crossbow is not good for the Widowmaker task, is it? Cape Buffalo are tier 6.

Anyone else missing this weapon?

It's a story related award. You complete the main quest line and you get it. The Aurora Shores story line. You must own the reserve.(DLC)

Ok then. Thank you. Just wish there was an explanation given somewhere ingame when these tasks cross between different maps.

Its not on different maps. Just Tikamoon.
[edit] There are two sets of achievements; STEAM and in-game; I was not aware of those Steam achievements - so is this steam or in-game?

The racing mission in Aurora Shores has indeed been made optional so you may skip it if it's not your speed (sorry, couldn't resist the pun).

In the meantime, you can admire the crossbow in the glass case in the lodge ;)
