Why aren't hunting trophies hung?

I cannot hang the trophies of the animals I hunt in my house. From where? I haven't played the single player story version. For now I only log in online. Because of that? Do we have to finish the story mode to unlock trophies?

I don't think you have to finish anything to get trophies

Check:

1 - when you have shot an animal, choose the Taxidermise option (not SELL)
2 - go to your house
3 - go to a display stand and press E
4 - if the display stand accepts a trophy you have taxidermised, then it will let you display it for a cost

OR:

in your character panel, look at Taxidermy Assistant to see what animals you have to be displayed or ready to be displayed

Thanks for your answer. But I tried what you said and it doesn't work. I do not sell the animal, as you said, I choose taxidermy. When I get to the exhibition stand, I can't press E or anything. There is no such option. Maybe I don't have any suitable prey to display. Well, if you know, can you tell me? What are the requirements for exhibiting an animal? For example, should the hunt be 5 stars? Does it take little damage? When I look at the taxidermy assistant, how do I know which hunt is suitable for the trophy and which is not?

Ah, I am sorry. Looks like something is still locked like you said then.

I think you can exhibit any male animal, no matter how many stars, plus possibly some females like bears.

If you have the option to taxidermise, then the trophy is suitable

I understand Thank you. I think even though I haven't finished the single player story mode, I still need to progress a bit. I just entered the game and exited the story at the first opportunity. I left it when it opened online. I think that's why there are no trophies. The story part is kind of like a tutorial. I think I need to hold a trophy exhibition there first, then it will be possible online. One day I will record the whole story and play it, but I'm waiting for the right time. I don't have time right now and since I care about the story, I want to play it in a healthy environment with a good mind :D

I have Googled a bit and can't find any answers as to what you need to do to unlock taxidermy - sorry. Maybe another player can tell us the answer.

What do you mean by online? Are you in multiplayer?
The trophies should work for any animal you saved for taxidermy, if you have the right animal for the right display. You have to pay to have it displayed. A list should appear for every display showing two details: how many animals can go on the display and what type of animal. If you have the animal you can click it to confirm your choice, then it will display your trophy. Each display is restricted to a short list of animals. Make sure you have both the money, and the right animal for the right display. Trophies have little to do with levels. Some animals only qualify for a specific display, like the two deer that form a heart shape with their antlers, others are generic.

You explained it very nicely and in detail. Thank you so much my friend. I think I understand what you're trying to say. I will keep trying. But, as I said, if it is necessary to reach at least a certain point in the story, the trophy feature will not be turned on no matter how hard I try. I'll try as you say until I play the story part. I'll try again after playing the story. If I can understand what the problem is about, I will try to inform you. Maybe it will be useful for someone else who has similar problems like me. Oh, if you are just beginning to play, there may be some things to do first; it's been a long time for me, so I can't remember the details of your first trophy opportunity, sorry. You may be right, there may be something you need to do first, but I can't figure it out; perhaps later today more responses will show up. What map are you on:?

I played each reserve in order, so not sure what a player new today has to do. But I'd reckon you at least need to harvest Hollywood?

If that is what it requires, Hollywood is a mule deer in the Nez Perce reserve. You would need to follow the story for a bit until you can mount the harvest in the lodge. After that you should be good to go.

I know this is a really old thread but you just have to prep the mount in free hunt mode or single player and then it will show up in your multiplayer lobbies if you're the host.
