Je suis du même avis concernant l'histoire.
As far as missions/stories go, text based missions with mini stories like in theHunter Classic would be enough.
Boss, "Don't report the crime."
Malachi, "OK Boss." Just lets the events play out like someone without an internal moral compass.
Lie for the guests? Sure lets tell a bunch of lies. No push back.
I hate having to play a character like that. Let alone have a bunch of dislikable NPCs that you have to listen to in unskippable dialogue. Ugh.
I wish the story mode was more hunting focused and less character focused. I want to hunt for good reasons, not to feed toxic egos. Maybe next map go for a little less of the Reality TV/Jersey Shore feeling?
edit, Science, how about science and herd management missions?
Está bien que sea opcional para que a la gente que no le gusta pueda ignorarla.
Thanks for the feedback, honestly didnt expect a reply from the devs on this, Ive finnished the story now anwyay and it does end better but still kinda like having to deal with those 'people' in the first instance kinda made the experience less enjoyable than it would otherwise have been just exploring teh map (for the record I LOVED the story missions on the main game and the first DLC).
All that said the Africa reserve itself is fantastic and am very much enjoying it (more so now the douche brigade have buggered off and I can just explore in peace and do more chilled tasks! ;))
THIS. ALL of this! It honestly kinda spoiled it for me, I like having a story mode it makes for an interesting way to show you round the new map and give you some goals to achieve rather than just 'shoot everything' but there could have been so many more interesting angles to do with managing a hunting safari lodge than just dealing with constant toxic entitled Karens with a captial K :)
Ah well it is what it is, and its at least realtively short and the rest of the maps taks/jobs are the more standard text posted mini objectives to just do while hunting and the map itself is great!
It was an interesting in-game moment , and did linger with me for a while with a small sense of regret - but it's just a game! So onward. I haven't finished with them yet, so we'll see if anything changes.
Much better compared to the main map & story imho.
Are all the other DLCs that short as well ?
From memory they are about the same length. To me, they are a method of getting you around the map, and maybe getting a bit of bling along the way.
What about the story at Lintukoto ?
I haven't tried it, because no story would have particularly appealed to me or been beautiful in any way before. But I don't find the map particularly interesting, too.
