Night vision and zooming on binoculars? devs please?

I really like game, but thinking that hunters today would go in night hunting without use of night vision aim is ridicoulos.
Also it really would helpful that on binoculars we have one with enabling to zoom in properly.
Does anyone knows did developers ever said something about this things?

I think in many places killing some species at night is illegal. I don't hunt but have seen that in many places its illegal. I think for pests its okay but not deer etc. I would guess not if that's the case although some missions require us to kill animals at night. Tracking would be a massive problem though.

They are adding more Binos but that's all I know. Whether they will have zoom function is anyone's guess. They could simply add spotting scopes but don't think its been confirmed exactly what there adding.

How to define when nights end? In some place it could have sunrise in 6h in other 8h. I never heard in my life hunting by night being illega.... And I have cousins that hunted any time. Plus how can someone determine when animal is killed? I can give deer I killed in middle of night and say "hey I got this one while he was having his sleep in noon"

I thought it was illegal in many places so did a quick Google search before answering. Every answer I got was its illegal to hunt at night deer,elk and many more species of animal. You can kill coyotes, foxes etc but some species you can't. The world is huge so many different laws apply, even America has different laws by states. If its illegal to hunt many species I suspect the devs might not add it to this game. I don't know that, that's why I said guess.

As for who would know IRL that is down to the hunters ethics I guess. There are hunters that respect animals and others who don't. It's the same with everything, some people respect laws and others don't. I just wouldn't think a game that tries to promote ethical hunting would encourage it. Only a dev can answer this question correct for you.

I agree on the binos, It's very hard to use them in forest areas with only one zoom. Again, only a dev can answer what they have planned for future content.

In Germany you are only allowed to hunt wild boar and predators and some birds at night and this is regulated differently in each federal state. In some federal states, other animal species may also be hunted at night and sometimes the upper hunting authority has to order it first.

Another vote for night vision binos and scopes here. I'm not a missions guy but i swear i saw some of them that involved killing animals during the night hours (foxes on Transylvania iirc was one) which seems pretty silly as you cant see more than 10m in front of you with nothing but the head torch.

It's the biggest thing i miss from CoTW. Night hunting is epic and so atmospheric. It needs to be in this game asap.

We have and coyotes and wolfs and foxes in the game, fact that you are not allowed for some speices (still I do not know how to test timing of animal killed) though I know that it is illegal to shoot animals from moving wehicles or with heavy weapon, which I agree is nowhere near hunting.
But still hunting at night itself I do not see problems, plus often lots of animals have great vision at night.
Fact that some stuff are not aloowed does not mean that we have gear for stuff that are allowed. Though I agree no one will care about it. But they really should add night scopes. Especially if they want to be serious in hunting games.

Incase you dont know , in the menu for gameplay settings if you change binocular arcade mode to yes the binoculars zoom.

zooming in binos have been addressed, even though I don't use the option...what I wish they'd done was add in spotting scopes to address this ask from the community as it keeps things realistic. Binos that zoom are actually terrible IRL...night hunting is illegal in may places, in Africa because the light from a car's headlights is often reflected back to a hunter which kills the chances of a fair chase...its also illegal in many other places...
