Report a translation problem
e.g. at 30m with a 6mph wind now ingame its pushing the pattern by 12-14 inches, which in real life takes a strong wind of 30mph, not a breeze of 6 mph
I bug reported it and reply was working as intended
"Hello, Thank you for the report. The shotgun is efficient in close range, however, the accuracy decreases based on distance. The ticket will be closed since this is not an issue and the game works As Designed."
So apparently 25 meters, the default zero for the weapon is too far? I don't think anyone at Nine Rock Studios has ever actually used a shotgun. Not only does the video prove the shotgun is broken, this response from support is surprising because it's just dismissive and doesn't address the problem.
If you watch the video, it's pretty obvious it's broken if they are calling this a "sim-level" game. This is what a shotgun dispersion pattern looks like at 40 yards:

In WOTH, the dispersion pattern at 25 yards in quadruple that and floats with the wind, which is absurd.
This is a game and although it pretends to simulate reality, it cannot be 100% real.
Agree 100% - they are utterly useless, fundamentally broken and un-fun to use. In their current state, It's more effective to hunt birds with a .22 than it is with a shotgun.
in short: 12 gauge for waterfoul or geese and 20gauge for birds, pheasants
"With shotshells, the smaller the number, the bigger the diameter (or gauge) of the shotgun’s bore. This all has to do with weight. In a 12 gauge shell, it will take 12 spherical balls (or shot or pellets or projectiles) of equal size and weight, to equal one pound of shot. In a 20 gauge, it will take 20 balls of equal size and weight to equal one pound of shot.
Because the individual pieces contained within a shotshell are bigger in a 12 gauge than in a 20 gauge, 12 is bigger than 20."

Currently in the game (as far as I know), there's no info on what type of shells we have, just gauge info.
Though testing the double barreled 12 gauge shotgun appears to be shooting buckshots, at least visually, and hunting birds with buckshots is a bad idea
I noticed they mixed up the sounds from 20 gauge and 12 gauge :-(
My 12 gauge sounds more loud and deep while the 20gauge "Morgenruhe" a bit lame.
Now i bought the new Remington pumpgun in 20gauge and it comes with the sound of my 12gauge.
So both 20gauge sounds different :-(
