Extended space for trophies?

So I finally unlocked the "Collector" perk which is supposed to give you 30% more space for animal trophies. To me the lodge looks the same as before, anyone know where the extra trophy space is?

All that effort thinking you were gonna have more lodge space.

I'm not sure Braun is right though. Needs confirmation.

I thought maybe it would empty out the basement where the other taxidermized pieces are.

I forgot to check the basement but you're right, it's not there either. I don't think it's inventory space because that's a limit on rifles, gear, and callers, not trophies. Or maybe it's a limit on number of trophies you can store with the taxidermy assistant?

At least in COTW you can't ever run out of trophy space but it looks like you can and will in this game.

Yeah, I was referring to the assistant. It stores the bullet cams, which must require significant storage space in your savegame. I can only assume that space is limited, even if there is no visible limit, as the alternative is the game transforming the lodge for a perk, which I don't believe would happen.

I also thought the new jeep thingy was going to be electric. So to not make any noise, nan it scares animals also. And cost $39,000 or so to buy. But it was FREE and smaller to get between trees.

Dumb perk. Redundant, because if you wanted to use all mounts you'd end up getting it as a matter of course. No meaningful difference to gameplay is made. It's almost as if someone was told to come up with x perks but couldn't think of anymore so added this one just to fill the perk count.

This along with stuff like the "free UTC" DLC is just awful UX, confusing as hell. Get a UX designer... The amount of people who have asked about the free UTV... It's ridiculous...
