The animals that I have shot at close range +/- 50 yds that have lots of blood loss are the ones that usually disappear.
I was thinking of looking for the game folder and deleting it to start over. Absurd after spending 40 euros. unacceptable.
1. Do Windows Key + R Key combination
2. A box appears, write without quotes "%localappdata%/WayOfTheHunter/Saved/"
3. right-click on the SaveGames folder, copy it then paste it, this makes a SaveGames - Copy folder, leave it as is,
4. Check the top part of your Windows Explorer window, where it says View, click on that tab and look for "file name extensions" and put a checkmark on the box next to it"
5. Go to SaveGames folder and rename ItemDatabaseSave.sav to ItemDatabaseSave.sav.bak
6. Click on Date Modified right below the navigation bar (where it shows Saved > SaveGames) and then find the Autosave that is the closest to your save.
7. Rename the autosave to ItemDatabaseSave.sav (this means you remove -Autosave#)
8. Try the game again and see
Edit: oh maybe you already deleted the save...so this advice is useless
