only female black bears issue
So, is this still an issue or bug, or has it been solved?
I dont hunt any right now but i heard its part of the story mission, which i stopped to continue until im certain that this bug is solved.

No problem with Bears here. Shot a good mix of male and female. Took two males today.

Same here. Saw even 4 in my binocs yesterday.

Weird I still have only seen Females since before 2 patches ago other then that Aggressive Bear Mission in the South

No bears at all on my map currently, last one i saw was glitched and vanished, not had any spawn since.

Some reply/informations from the devs would be welcome. Please let us know about this issue, which seems to happen to some players, while others dont face any problems.

Yes there are but difficult to find, you must use the caller in predator mode and they will come to you.

I got two males yesterday. US map on Adventurer level. (there are no bears on the EU map yet)

Yesterday killed my second male. It is perfect as it is. I think bears have to be something very dificult to see so the gameplay is also the search, that if you do propertly, you will find them

I really don't think it is an issue from my experience so far.

Japo32 said it. They are more difficult to find/see. They also are mainly solo animals.
Can be seen sometimes in pairs.

Right now I am having difficulty seeing/finding a 4* male for a mission. But I won't say that the game or Bears are buggy because of that.
He is out there. Big map you know!

Keep the faith & keep searching.

Well I have seen maybe a dozen Bears in various areas... total.. I have killed 6 or 7 Other then the First one which was a 3 Star Male and the One for the Aggressive Bear mission I have not spotted a SINGLE Male in 2 1/2 weeks of wandering the map going from Bear need zones to zones starting at Morning Drinking time then moving between the rest and feed areas.

Just % says I should at least flush one that runs off.. Then toss in the BS of all the Female bears being 5
0% quality even the Mature one I got Most of the Female everything seems to have that issue which makes no sense .

The last male bear I saw was in 1.15, since the first 1.16 I have only female bears on my map and cannot complete the story mission. I'm around 20-30 bears since 1.16, all over the map and all female.
Seems to be an issue, but happens not to all players.
I also made a bug ticket a few days ago.

Edit:
Also forgot, if you taxdermize those females 0% bears, the only ones I have on my map currently, they will not appear in the lodge. So, black bears are definitely bugged for some people.

Must be nice got another Mature Female tonight and had the fun Fully Armored Grass finally show up.... First shot 50m right under the throat head on with the Carbon.. Not even a blood trail.. lucky she ran away then back past me so I just walked after her.. about 400m she stopped and I got her alerting as I got to about 150.. crouch stalked to the side till I got a shot.. Hit her 3 times from the animation.. Log shows only the finally 2 that also gave Blood spatter..
