Did anyone yet find wolves on Mt. Regina (Transylvania)

I haven't found any wolves or even need zones yet there. But a mission requires 2 females to be harvested here.

theres one pack of wolves in that region, shot one of the two females, but never saw them again since then

I went up the hill on the the opposite side of the valley from the camp, looking towards the small lake . Had Chamios, Mufflon and Wolves all appear in that area. Took one of the wolves but haven't been back yet for another.

I found 2 needzones but never seen or heard a wolf in the region. Was there 4 times so far.

The campsite directly West of the one you have circled. That's the area is saw them. I was up on the hill to the right of the campsite, the wolves i saw came over from near the campsite, or at least the general direction of that side of the valley.

2 weeks later, still on that stupid mission. I'm close to madness after investing hours and hours of waiting and scouting. Only found 1 pack inside the area with 2 needzones on the very edge of it - managed to get 1 male and 1 female, never seen them there again. Found 2 other packs north of the are but they don't seem to have needzones inside. Everytime I spot or hear a wolf they are outside...

walk at morning from the camp fire south and look left and south to Regina Mountains; sometimes its a bit tricky. Here´s that mission to kill the oneeyed black wolf.

I couldn't find him for more than a week irl. Finally what I did was fast travel to a different campsite far to the SW, then I approached the mission area straight from the south. I saw him up on a hill in front of me, so basically the very southernmost hill of the mission area, facing south. I wonder if fast traveling to the camp that's in the mission area spooks them away.

No problem with getting the 2 wolves and the black one. It did take some time. I also discovered it is a large area that that is inclusive to the Regina Mountains.

I've camped the mountains like crazy, also tried different campsites but I used the ones that are still in the area. After reading your comment I tried it from the SW outside of the area and it worked (kinda). Still had to lure those bastards into the area since the always stay 200m away from the boundary - but finally it worked (on the second try to be honest, since I additionally seem to have some problems with wolves, rarely get them down with .308 or .223 so for the 2nd attempt it had to be the .338)

They are there, just they are REALLY hard to hunt in those mountains. My first one was an easy 135 yard shot, but I got lucky as the pack came straight for the need zone directly at me. The second took me over a week irl time, and I had to guess at the sex and take a real long 450+ shot to get her. I had very fortunate luck on the follow up quest for Aldo
All of my wolves including aldo came from the north westernmost campsite.

I'm not sure if the mission title/wording is misleading; I shot two female wolves in the Umbra Tara region and got the mission done

The mission description says to kill two female wolves in the Regina Mountains. If you still have completed the mission, it can actually only be a bug.

Agreed - bug/misworded mission, but hope this helps other players on this mission
