Every autumn the King reaches for you and you can see what's expected before the next tax cycle. There's a menu for premade deliveries or you can make your own from the warehouse menu it's like giving to clergy but you click "Royal" instead of "Clergy".
Also you need to build a delivery storage in you warehouse (I forgot how it's called but it's the storage your worker will use to gather items for each delivery) it's also used to deliver to nobles families and one worker will physically leave to deliver (this make a worker unavailable for 2 days for each delivery you make)
The Royal tax menu is one of the button on the bar on the bottom right. Where you can see your progress toward the tax goals and a list of optional deliveries. At first the king only ask for money, you can just send the amount directly or by completing optionals the value of goods is deducted from you tax and you get extra favor points.
But if you just started, no actions are required for the first 2 seasons.
