4 digit combination chapter 1

In the early beginning after getting the rifle before heading to the mg is a door with a 4 digit combination. Does someone know the code? :-D

Based on my time with the demo, I think that number is actually random and/or seeded to your playthrough. Dev can confirm if they see this.

It changes each time you play and I don't understand why it exists. Maybe you can run past all the enemies and get the code and run back to make the section faster?

The number is random. It was 8802 for me.

I think it has something to do with a certain ending. The character says something about getting shot if he doesn't go to the frontline. Enter this path completely skips this section of the game. I didn't want to go in there knowing this, I might try it on my second playthrough.

I know this is very elitist of me perhaps but a I love that the code is randomised and therefore cannot simply be googled to find the answer. I miss the days when people had no choice but to figure stuff out for themselves.
