Chapter 4 is ridiculous (spoilers)
Seriously, come on with this.

You get the howitzer shell, then you can barely sprint as a ton of enemies spawn in. It's not fun, just frustrating.

Hope you invested in extra inventory slots! Because oh, there's rubble and you have to take the long way around, the way long way, so the shell and the crank each take one up, plus you need the gas mask to get the crank. Oh, and no checkpoints while you are unlocking bunkhouses as you go along.

Anyone else have issues with this part?

I think the game already goes downhill from chapter 3+ with the insane amount of running around for stuff

You're right (unfortunately)... I think that Mr. Jordan just run out of ideas and after chapter 3 the game has nothing more to offer than these metroidvania-type maps with locked doors and keys/key items scattered all around. I played so many resident evil games in my life and games that follow the same pattern that... I need something more to it. I love first chapters tho, amazing atmosphere. And by Iooking at the reviews I think most people played only the first half of the game and they're under the impression of it (and there's nothing wrong with that). This also explains why achievement % of people who finished later chapters is so low.

Try using your gun. You have more than enough time to dodge roll through attacks during that part. It's incredibly easy to bait enemy attacks in this game and it's weird that you made it this far without figuring that out.

I honestly had no issues at all. Veteran difficulty. I had a TON of ammo and meds, etc and I could buy the shell to clear the rubble, which makes this part incredibly easy.

I died the first time, because I didn't planned out, but after that, it was very easy to do it.

For me this chapter was by FAR the worst one. Almost no new content, short and just not too fun. Love chapter 5, however.

Which long way around are you talking about?
I just went back the exact same way that I did to get to the shell?
You can still dodgeroll (weirdly enough) so it wasn't that much of an issue to doubleback and place it into the artillery unless I'm missing something?

Huh, Maybe I accidentally cleared a path for myself with a 75mm shell using one of those four optional artillery earlier on in chapter 2?
Not sure.

I will agree that this chapter wasn't the best so far - but that's only because it was so short and didn't really feel unique enough to be a 'Chapter'. Although the Charge at the end and behind enemy lines was pretty neat I suppose.
Still felt like there could have been more puzzly/exploration stuff to it (And this is even including backtracking partly into the catacombs for the Handcannon)

I had no issue with that part because I had body armour. Chapter 4 is pretty short and fun, just have body armour for the shell part and its a cake walk.
