melee weapons
I take it they don't self-destroy when durability runs out?
Also, is it worth having the best melee and continue to repair it or stick with the knife and spam use all melee then discard/sell?

Also what better?
A strong 0 durability melee or the knife?
I can't tell since the stats don't reflect durability %.

I stuck with the knife the entire campaign since it never breaks, sold everything else, most enemies can be insta killed when hit unaware from behind. Even should you fail to catch them off guard, you can exit the room and return and they will resume their patrol routine like nothing happened and try once more.

The other melee weapons are adapt for open combat, but I found getting into fights this way to be clunky and high risk. I'll save some bullets, but at the cost of getting injured more often. Same thing for the rats, I just run past them and not even bother engaging them at all.

did notice the OHKO when stealth, also notice if weapon durability is 0, you can't OHKO.
as for the rats, you can melee them from a safe distance, but the catch is it depends which way you are facing. I get more "range" if I strike facing them downward and they run upward towards me.
