Report a translation problem
The other melee weapons are adapt for open combat, but I found getting into fights this way to be clunky and high risk. I'll save some bullets, but at the cost of getting injured more often. Same thing for the rats, I just run past them and not even bother engaging them at all.
as for the rats, you can melee them from a safe distance, but the catch is it depends which way you are facing. I get more "range" if I strike facing them downward and they run upward towards me.
