How do you get the torch ? ( spoiler )

I've been fighting in the dark the entire time people are talking about a torch and there is battery everywhere but i didn't find one please help

in the support trench east im pretty sure, just keep working your way right from the initial starting trench.

though that might be the lighter now that im thinking about it.

youll find it pretty much no mater what, itll be in your way

Its definately not absolutely required, i often dont even carry it and just go slow but ill admit its easier to scvenge when using the torch.

The lighter is indeed in the dormitory but now i'm in the underground of the fort souville and it's a nightmare without a torch.

Same here. I have done most of chapter 3 and have 4 batteries sitting still in the stash, but no torchlight yet. As far as I know it's not in the trenches.

It's weird because you acquired it pretty early in the demo to explore the first basement. Now playing the full version I got stuck because I was looking for the torchlight before going to said basement, but apparently you're meant to go there without it. It's not that hard to beat though, same for Fort Souville's basement.

the torch is in the ruins you can you have acess to it through the ladder in the upper right corner of the map
